Prosser's on the beach is Hobart and Tasmania's leading seafood restaurant.
Award winning restaurant, we have a lounge and deck area for coffee or casual cocktails or wines, perhaps with an appetiser or dessert. Our lunch and dinner menus offer the best seafood this state has to offer, but the delicious food doesn't end there. Our poultry, meat, vegetable dishes, desserts, and drinks are all top-notch.

Prosser's on the Beach was established in 1986 as Hobart's first true waterfront restaurant. Surrounded by beautiful park lands, Prosser's is only metres from the beach and enjoys magnificent views across the Derwent Estuary.

Under the guidance of Chef Stuart Prosser, Prosser's on the Beach gained a reputation for top quality service and food featuring the finest produce Tasmania has to offer.

Sit back relax enjoy the views and allow us to make this a dining experience to remember. We're open from 12 noon for lunch from Wednesday to Sunday, and from 6pm for dinner from Monday to Saturday. For functions and weddings we have a range of superb Menus with wines from our extensive cellar to compliment. Book your function now up to 110 people. Cocktail functions up to 150 people.
