What should I do before a session?
You should take the following steps: *Stay out of the sun for a month before treatment commences and use 30+SPF sun protection when out in the sun, *Avoid "fake tan" and sun-beds for at least a month, *Avoid waxing, plucking hair or bleaching for at least a month. Shaving is recommended as prepares the hair for better treatment.

How about waxing, shaving or creams?

Are there any side-effects?
Side effects are rare but you may experience some redness of the skin or even some slight swelling which can last around a day. In some cases you may experience "scabbing" which will only last a short period of time. This is normal and may occur more frequently when stronger settings are needed. There should be little discomfort during treatment. There is the typical "rubber-band" flicking or zapping sensation.
