We are located in the heart of Slacks Creek in Allgas Street, which is between Moss Street and Compton Road. We have been providing car servicing, air conditioning and safety inspections for 30 years in our community. We specialise in European cars, Japanese and Australian cars and pride ourselves in giving good service to our customers. Our services include Log Book Servicing, Safety Inspections to cars, trucks, trailers
727 Auto Shop prides itself in helping to keep your car well maintained and inform you what work needs to be done to keep it safely on the road. It is not our practise, like some businesses to upsell anything to our customers unless it's required and take particular care to explain to our customers, details about how to carry out minor maintenance, for between servicing times, ultimately saving you money. We tell you honestly what work needs to be carried out and offer competitive rates.
To reduce the chance of any possible breakdowns, we recommend that you have your car regularly serviced and maintained, as it is important to keep you and your family safe, whilst travelling in your vehicle and also suggest if you are going on holidays to have a Pre-Holiday inspection. Maintaining your vehicle correctly, will prolong the life of your vehicle and save you money in the long run. The 727 Auto Shop will cover all your automotive maintenance needs.

A Safety Inspection covers the basic things that affect the safe operation of your vehicle and include things such as: Brakes, Lights, Steering, Tyres, Windscreen, Body damage and rust, Suspension. So if it has a cracked windscreen, bald tyres or any other issues, it will not pass an inspection until repairs are carried out.
They are current for 2 months or 2000km (whichever comes first) from the date of issue for sellers. They are current for 3 months or 1000km (whichever comes first) for licensed motor dealers.
Any faults discovered during an inspection would need to be repaired and/or parts replaced and there is a time period of 14 days in which to carry out this repair work. We will consult you and give you a quote of any costs to rectify if needed. A second inspection within the 14 days of the first inspection is free.
Yes, car air-conditioning should be serviced every two years or 30,000km, as filters get blocked and can render the air-conditioning system inoperative. You should also run your air conditioner at least once a week, all year round as this prevents leakage and preserves the seals.
Consult your vehicle owner's handbook for the correct service interval needed. Usually you should give your vehicle a minor service every 10,000km, which entails changing of engine oil and filters, checking all fluid levels, windscreen wipers and washers and tyre pressures, etc.
