Why should I get a drain camera inspection after my drain is unblocked?

Unless your drain is camera inspected after it has been unblocked there is no way for the plumber to know if they have cleared the drain completely all that they know for sure is that they have pushed past the blockage. A camera inspection shows if the blockage has been cleared properly or if there is any underlying problem in the drain. It is because we camera inspect all drains for free normally $250 that we can offer our full 12-month warranties.
How do I know if my septic trenches have failed?

There are a number of signs that can point to a failed set of septic trenches if you know where the distribution box is (this will look like a small square concrete slab) the best way to tell is if this box is overflowing or backing up. You may also see a constant wet or green patch of grass on the ground, the septic tank may overflow or backup or it may back up the toilets. Will clearing a blocked drain fixes it permanently?

This really depends what was blocking the pipe is broken if it was tree roots blocking the pipe they will eventually grow back within a year or so. The permanent solution is to dig up the damaged section and replace with new drainage pipe. There are also other means of fixing the damaged drain but the only way to tell for sure is to check by using a drain camera what is causing the problem. No matter what the problem is our blocked drain experts can advise you what the best solution is.
